Shirodhara is probably the most sought after Ayurveda treatment in the spa and beauty industry. Due to it's delightful pouring of fine stream of oil onto the forehead for a period of time and how it's then massaged into the hair and scalp for nourish and condition properties.
By stimulating the third eye chakra, located between the eyebrows, at the center of your head, it releases a message to the brain that allows the body to enjoy the experience of letting go and relaxing on the deepest level. Energies around the spine are freed, which helps to calm and clear the mind. Shirodhara also stimulates the various vital points all around the head and improves blood circulation.
Other fantastic benefits are:

• Help nourish the nervous system
• Awkening Third Eye
• Relaxes scalp tension
• Nourishes hair and scalp

Shirodhara is incredible for all Dosha's, but even more incredible for Vata Doshas!
Vata‘s are characterized by air and space. When the Agni (digestive fire) is compromised, Vata dosha can lead to different health concerns, for example anxiety, constipation, cracking joints, mild insomnia, and digestive disorders. Shirodhara treatments are spectacular at pacifying Vata’s and balance back to a state of mind and body.
