Adriana Esquer, the founder of Gilded Rose Spa, draws strength from a challenging childhood marked by experiences of physical, sexual, and verbal abuse, alongside struggles with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Irlen Syndrome. Seeking solace and expression, she turned inward for peace and found refuge in the world of art and nature.

Throughout her youth, Adriana found consolation in various forms of expression, including dance, musical instruments, art, and connecting with animals in 4-H. These outlets became her healthy coping mechanisms, providing balance amidst adversity. Additionally, her fascination with beautification and wellness techniques served as a means to cultivate inner harmony by caring for the outer self.

In November 2017, Adriana graduated from the Aveda Houston Institute as a Licensed Esthetician and subsequently realized her dream by establishing Gilded Rose Spa in December of the same year. 

Adriana is currently dedicated in her academic pursuit of psychology.  In her personal studies, she has sought to understand and find self-acceptance with bi-racial/mixed race imposter syndrome, delving into her ancestral lineage and wellness practices. She seeks to integrate elements of eastern, western, and mesoamerican philosophies, drawing from her background in Ayurvedic spa practices to infuse a WHOLE-listic approach with Gilded Rose Spa.

Since the age of 13, she harbored a passion by her vision to creating a business that not only provides therapeutic outlets for others but also fosters community support, connection, and unity.
